This Week Movement Superstar Last Week
1

JOHN CENA (15)

It’s pretty hard for anybody else to be No. 1 when Cena not only retained the WWE Championship against Umaga, but won the World Tag Team Championship as well.

3
2

BOBBY LASHLEY (4)

Any other week, the ECW World Champion would be a lock at No. 1. Defeating Test three times in eight days – twice for the gold – is pretty impressive.

1
3

BATISTA

The Animal quieted Mr. Kennedy at the Rumble, but falls as a victim of circumstance.

2
4

SHAWN MICHAELS

That was quite a performance at Royal Rumble. He also picked up the World Tag Team Championship this week. With his determination to be WWE Champion, his rise on the P25 could continue.

6
5

JEFF HARDY

The Hardys took care of MNM at the Royal Rumble, but Jeff slides one spot for being counted out against The Great Khali.

4
6

CHRIS BENOIT

The Rabid Wolverine fires up to No. 6 after a solid showing in the Rumble Match and beating Finlay on SmackDown.

9
7

RATED-RKO (EDGEORTON)

After losing the World Tag Team Championship, will Edge & Orton look to regain their gold or does this spell an end to their dominance?

5
8

MR. KENNEDY

SmackDown’s fastest-rising star was slowed a bit on Sunday, but time is on Mr. Kennedy’s side.

7
9

UMAGA

The Samoan Bulldozer may have come up short at the Rumble, but did you see what John Cena had to go through to retain his gold?

8
10

UNDERTAKER

The Deadman makes a scary jump up the P25 after winning the Rumble. Despite not holding a title for the moment, Undertaker seems like the man to beat in all of WWE.

18
11

KING BOOKER

A Big Red Monster has entered Booker’s kingdom. Can he fight off the machine?

10
12

ROB VAN DAM

It was a rough night for the ECW Original on Tuesday, but he had as good of a showing in the Rumble Match as any Extremist.

12
13

CM PUNK

CM Punk fell victim to the cunning Matt Striker. Can he rebound?

11
14

KANE

So far, Kane has done a good job in his apparent mission to destroy the royal kingdom of SmackDown.

14
15

TEST

Test falls after two unsuccessful title opportunities. Will there be more in his future or has Lashley proven himself?

13
16

THE GREAT KHALI

The Great Khali takes a giant step after his Rumble performance. Since his Raw debut, he has been virtually unstoppable.

20
17

CARLITO

Carlito stays cool at No. 17 after his tag team victory on Raw.

17
18

JOHNNY NITRO

Johnny Nitro drops after the tag team match at Royal Rumble. Do The Hardys have MNM’s number?

15
19

RIC FLAIR

“The Nature Boy” couldn’t pull it off this time around, but his Rumble legacy remains untouchable.

16
20

PAUL LONDON & BRIAN KENDRICK

The loss to Deuce & Domino hurt the WWE Tag Team Champions, but arguably nobody is better than these guys at bouncing back.

19
21

MATT HARDY

Hardy breaks even this week after an impressive win over MNM and a disappointing loss to The Miz.

21
22

KENNY DYKSTRA

Sunday helped to get experience under Dykstra’s belt. Let’s see where he goes from here.

22
23
MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

MVP slides after a relatively quiet week, and “quiet” and “MVP” are rarely in the same sentence.

23
24
DEUCE & DOMINO

Their win over the WWE Tag Team Champions should come as a warning to SmackDown’s roster. No matter what year they think it is, Deuce & Domino could be this year’s top tandem.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"Cena should have to wait until Lashley or Batista lose before he can move up to No. 1." - Jon
The Academy replies: It's hard to deny John Cena the No. 1 spot when he holds the WWE Championship and wins the World Tag Team Championship on top of it.

"Why did Mickie fall off after just one loss?" - Liz
The Academy replies: Mickie was too close to the border to afford an off night. She needs to compile some wins and work her way up to be safe after a loss.

"How is Umaga still higher than Undertaker after Sunday?" - Jim
The Academy replies: Undertaker took a pretty big jump as it is. Give him another week or so and we'll see where he is.

FAREWELL...

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their spot on the POWER 25 this week:

Cryme Tyme - JTG & Shad have to return to their winning ways if they want to get back on the list.

Mickie James - Mickie is experiencing déjà vu from her rivalry with Victoria. Can she rebound the way she did then?

OTHERS EARNING VOTES...

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

World's Greatest Tag Team - With a few more wins, Haas and Benjamin might be talking about the World’s Greatest P25.

Melina - She was able to knock the Women’s Champion off of the P25; now can she push herself on it?

Matt Striker - He could teach the Superstars and Extremists a thing or two about the P25. In fact, he does in the Year in Review.
