RANDY ORTON (15)

The WWE Champion’s victory over the red-hot Jeff Hardy at Royal Rumble propelled him from No. 6 to the top of the POWER25. But can he find the same magic against the returning John Cena?

6
2

TRIPLE H (2)

The Game eliminated the most Superstars in this year’s Royal Rumble Match (five), but couldn’t toss the returning John Cena. Triple H also picked up a DX reunion tag team victory on Raw.

3
3

JEFF HARDY

The Intercontinental Champion gave it his all at the Rumble, but came up just short as Randy Orton reversed the Twist of Fate into an RKO. Lesson learned, look for Hardy not to make the same mistake twice.

4

BATISTA (2)

The Animal spent 37:42 in the Rumble Match to earn “ironman” honors for this year’s battle. He’ll get more “iron” when he enters SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.

2
5

EDGE

With help from his lover Vickie Guerrero, Edge retained the World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble, defeating Rey Mysterio.

7
6

UNDERTAKER

The Deadman started the Rumble at No. 1, lasting nearly 33 minutes before HBK eliminated the former World Heavyweight Champion. He also picked up a tag team win with brother Kane on SmackDown.

4
7

CM PUNK

For ECW music lovers, hearing the Straightedge Superstar crash his guitar on the head of ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero during his championship fiesta was music to their ears. Encore!

9
8

SHAWN MICHAELS

HBK teamed up with The Game for a DX reunion, scoring a win over Snitsky & Umaga.

8
9

REY MYSTERIO

If it wasn’t for the meddling of SmackDown GM Vickie Guerrero, Mysterio might be wearing the World Title once again. He’ll get a second chance at Edge at No Way Out.

5
10

BETH PHOENIX

The dominant Diva and Women's Champion continues her mastery over Mickie James, pinning her in tag team action on Raw.

10
11

FINLAY

The Irishman was irate after getting disqualified from the Rumble for using his shillelagh on Big Daddy V and Mark Henry, who were manhandling Hornswoggle.

12
12

KANE

The Big Red Machine had a strong week, picking up a count-out victory over Shelton Benjamin on ECW on Sci Fi and a tag team victory with Undertaker on SmackDown.

13
13

JOHN MORRISON & THE MIZ

What did Colin Delany do to deserve this nightmare? Miz & Morrison destroyed the young Superstar, adding to his collection of bandages and bruises.

11
14

HORNSWOGGLE

After being yelled at by Mr. McMahon for hiding under the ring during the Rumble Match, the leprechaun picked up a tag team win with Finlay on SmackDown.

14
15

MR. KENNEDY

The Green Bay gladiator got his revenge on HBK by tossing him out of the Royal Rumble. Now he sets his sights on Ric Flair, looking to end the career of the Nature Boy.

16
16

CHAVO GUERRERO

The ECW Champion never saw CM Punk jamming with the mariachi band at his championship fiesta, and he didn't see Punk's guitar swinging his way until the last minute. That's a sour note to end a party on!

17
17

BIG DADDY V

ECW's goliath falls two places after a lackluster Rumble performance and a tag team loss at the hands of Undertaker and Kane.

15
18

RIC FLAIR

Woooo! The Nature Boy is on fire after defeating the United States Champion at the Royal Rumble, and earned a DQ win over MVP again on SmackDown.

22
19

MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER

Is the United States Champion's hot streak extinguished? Two straight losses to the Nature Boy have some voices in the SmackDown locker room questioning if he's truly "half-man, half-amazing."

18
20

CHRIS JERICHO

Y2J lost to John "Bradshaw" Layfield by DQ, but got a piece of the Texan with repeated chair blows.

19

JOHN CENA

Welcome back! The former WWE Champion appears on the P25 after winning the 21st annual Royal Rumble Match as a surprise No. 30 entrant.

WHAT YOU'RE SAYING

"I thought the P25 was cumulative! Why does Hardy drop three spots?" - Sharon
The Academy replies: Orton and Triple H just couldn't be denied the top spots once the opportunity was made with Hardy's loss.

"Colin Delaney is still not on? He tries harder than everyone. I'm waiting!" - Teri
The Academy replies: You will have to keep waiting until he gets a win. With Tommy Dreamer seemingly taking him under his wing, maybe that will happen sooner rather than later.

"John Cena at No. 21? He should be in the top 10!" - Tom
The Academy replies: Cena's win was big, but come on. If he won a title, maybe we'd talk. Even then, Chavo didn't jump into the top 10 after his big one. Cena is sure to work his way up; don't you worry.

FAREWELL...

The following Superstar(s) failed to maintain their position on the P25 this week:

Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore - Their loss to Ryder and Hawkins bumps them out of the P25.

The Great Khali - Despite being the largest man in the Rumble, Khali lasted only 1:08. Not enough to keep him in the P25.

OTHERS EARNING VOTES...

The following Superstar(s) also received votes from members of the Academy:

Kofi Kingston – It's been two straight wins for the Jamaican newcomer.

Carlito – The cool Caribbean Superstar got back on the winning track with a win over Hardcore Holly.

Santino Marella – The Italian angered fans with his promise that Maria will never grace Playboy's cover.
