WWE congratulates Spokane radio contest winners

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Local radio contest grand prize winners, Sabrina Asbill, of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Dameon Adamson, Bret Glow and Delvone Bullis, of Spokane, Wash., received ringside seats to SmackDown and met WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy in the locker room area. The contest was sponsored by radio stations Rock 94½, Wired 96.9 and 92.9 ZZU FM, to promote WWE's return to Spokane for the first time in four years. (PHOTOS)

Asbill was randomly selected as 92.9 ZZU's winner after texting "WWE" using her cell phone. Adamson, Wired's champ, qualified by being caller No. 20, and subsequently had his name drawn to win. Best friends Glow and Bullis showed their creativity to gain Rock's prize by submitting the "Best Smack Talk" video.

"It's real simple," said Bullis, doing his best impersonation of The Rock. "You get into character as The Rock, you talk a little smack, and you get tickets to The Rock's show, SmackDown. There's no ifs, ands or buts, I smacked Rock 94 ½ around and asked, ‘Why doesn't The Rock have tickets to his own show?' and we got them," he said with a grin.

Glow added, "It's awesome. I'm enjoying every second of this. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. SmackDown is one of my favorite shows. Meeting Jeff Hardy, one of my favorite Superstars, was the experience of a lifetime."

Hardy signed autographs, answered questions about his career and posed for pictures with contest winners.

"It's always cool meeting contest winners. I know it means a lot to them, because I remember how much it meant to me to meet someone I looked up to," Hardy said. "Back when Matt and I were sending out demos, trying to get signed, we probably would've participated in the station's ‘Best Smack Talk' contest."
