SUPERSTARS TALK SPRING BREAK

Spring break is just around the corner. Don't have any plans? Get a few ideas from your favorite WWE Superstars and Divas as they recall some of their favorite hot-spots, plus relive memories from the parties, the beaches and much more.

Matt Striker

"While most of my friends were out smoking the pot and engaging in senseless behavior such as unprotected fornication with ladies of the night, I would always take spring break upon myself to get further ahead in my studies. So I always looked forward to spring break as it would improve my vast knowledge. Of course, that seems to pay off right now as I’m not only the most hated man in wrestling, but also the smartest Superstar in the WWE.

"During my first year out of high school, we went to the beach. It’s popular to stand on top of the seawall and watch the girls go by. There were about 20 or 30 guys standing on the seawall, and one of my brothers pulled my shorts down to my ankles. So I was standing on the seawall and there I am, in all of my splendor, with all of the girls looking up in awe, if you will. I wasn’t expecting it, though I ended up getting a couple of phone numbers."

"One of the best adventures I had for spring break was in Montreal a few years ago. It’s called 'Boule Blanche'. It’s 50,000 people in a big arena. The biggest and best DJ in the world comes in. It’s a week of partying. Everybody from all over the world is here. We have to dress all in white. It’s like carnival, but all in white. Bottom line, it’s one of the biggest parties. If you go to Montreal and you say 'Boule Blanche', everybody knows what you’re talking about."

"Back when I was on The Real World, I was king of spring break. The mayor of Cancun was going to give me the key to city because that’s how fun I was. All these companies would have me come down and basically celebrate spring break for a month. Obviously, there are a million fond memories. I was freaking the king. Spring break for me was insanity. I met every celebrity that you can think of, and I could pick out any hot girl I wanted."

"Spring break was not that big of a deal. I think one of my fondest memories is going to my grandma’s house and spending spring break with Eddie. We'd go into the backyard – we had a wrestling ring – and spend seven days in the ring. Those are great memories for me."

"Being down in Jamaica, it’s always a hot spring break spot. So a lot of the Americans would come over and do the whole spring break thing. Nothing specific, but I always remember the Americans and trying to chill out with them. They always know how to party. Growing up in Jamaica, I showed them a lot of the ropes – showed them where to go to have a good time."

"Since 16, I would always go to Panama with my girlfriends. One time, we were driving the car and I got in a big ol’ wreck with a semi truck. It ended up smashing in the whole side of my car, but we still drove it to spring break. It was funny because we were driving down the strip and all the guys were asking what happened to my car."

"I wasn’t like every other kid. I didn’t go to any party. I never went to college, so I didn’t experience that end of spring break, either. What I did for spring break was jump into a car of smelly wrestlers and wrestle everywhere I could. I’ve got a lot of good memories of wrestling when everyone else was partying, but all of the hard work paid off. Here I am, wrestling now."

"My memory is pretty lame unless you’re a geek like I am. I actually went to Wildwood, N.J., with my good friend Danny Doring and hung out. We worked out in the tourist gym and played video games all day. Not the wildest. It was fun to me, though."

Eve

"My favorite spring break moment was my senior year of high school, when we all went to Cancun, Mexico – me, my best friend and a bunch of our guy friends. It was so much fun because it was our first time away from our parents, the first time we had complete freedom. It was a lot of fun. We just spent every day at the beach. I can’t think of any time in my life when I was more relaxed and carefree."

"I’ll always love spring break, but the bad thing about it was that I was always playing in a softball tournament. They conveniently held tournaments during spring break for whatever reason. If I didn’t have softball practice, I was at the beach with my girlfriends, partying it up and laying in the sun, soaking it up sunrise to sunset."

"My fondest spring break memory would be my first extensive mud tie week tour with ECW overseas. I went to a lot of different places I’ve never been. I never lived the wild lifestyle, but if I had to choose a moment, that would be my moment. I visited places I never thought I would in my entire life."
