Super(star) Tuesday

WWE’s Superstars and Divas join the two dozen states holding primaries and caucuses on the largest “Super Tuesday” in U.S. history. Many of our ring warriors, however, are also making their voices heard as to who among them could exit a WWE locker room and successfully assume the most important job in the world. Incredibly, friendships and rivalries didn’t seem to factor into their opinions; in fact, they were far less about airing grudges or personal vendettas, and more into explaining why the Superstar or Diva they chose would make a successful President of the United States.

That said, WWE.com reminds each and every one of you on this “Super Tuesday” that once you’re done reading our Superstars’ opinions, please make yours known – head for the booths and Smackdown Your Vote!

John Cena

"Not that I’m a fan of theirs, but it would probably be John Cena or John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield for president. They’re aggressive, they’re leaders and they’re intelligent. They wouldn’t embarrass me."

- Mark Henry

Mr. McMahon

“That is so scary to think of a wrestler as a U.S. president. But I would pick Mr. McMahon. He’s the smartest man in the world. He’s the leader and the brightest one of all.”

- Jillian

Mickie James

"The President of the United States is on TV every day doing meet-and-greets and such. What I’d like to do is turn on the TV in the morning, watch the headline news and instead of seeing George Bush or Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, I’d like to see Mickie James as our president. And she dresses provocatively, so I’m thinking she’s going to dress pretty good on TV."

- Lance Cade

Hardcore Holly

“Even though we have our differences in the ring, I would choose Hardcore Holly. He is a very fair and just man; he puts up with no nonsense. He is very firm – VERY firm – and he is just crazy enough to get the job done.”

- Santino Marella

Val Venis

"I’d personally pick Val Venis. If you ever spoke to him, that man is politically charged, and he is intelligent. And any man that can pick up Playboy Playmates the way he can, I want him to be in charge."

- Trevor Murdoch

“Val Venis is Libertarian and very passionate about politics. I think he would have Americans in his heart.”

- Victoria

“Val Venis gets my vote. He’s a very political-minded Libertarian, and I like his views.”

- Brian Kendrick

Stephanie McMahon or Umaga

"If there was one person to elect as the U.S. president, it would be Stephanie McMahon. She’s so powerful, and I’d like to see a powerful, strong woman who’s compassionate in office. I know she’s not really in the locker room, but she is part of the company. If I have to keep my vote in the locker room, how about Umaga? His communication skills are as good as Geroge W. Bush’s, so whatever."

- Mickie James

JBL

“In the locker room? I've got to admit, I’d have to go with JBL. He can speak very well and he knows about the economy. I think that’s where our nation is really hurting and needs to restructure itself. [JBL] has made and lost more money than I would be able to count; I think he could do the same for the U.S. of A.”

- John Cena

"JBL. He knows his stuff, and if I had to, I would follow his lead. He'd be able to command the ship."

- Hardcore Holly

Ric Flair/Stevie Richards

"If not myself, I would have to go for the 'Nature Boy,' Ric Flair, with Stevie Richards as vice president."

- Val Venis

Stone Cold Steve Austin

“I think we need a man like ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to lead us into battle with his mantra of Truth, Beer and the American Way.”

- Chris Jericho
