Pumped. Excited. Anxious. These are just a few of the emotions WWE Diva Ashley is feeling, a mere week away from the big release of her Playboy cover debut.

“It’s so crazy, because sometimes I’ll wake up and think it’s got to be months away. The whole thing just unfolded so quickly, and I can’t believe it’s here already!” Ashley told WWE.com. “One week away. It feels great.”

Ashley said time flies, since she’s incredibly busy traveling with WWE. But the SmackDown Diva is so excited and overjoyed for her Playboy debut next Monday. The closest thing she can compare the anticipation to is feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve.

“You know when you wait all year long for a certain holiday or something special, like a birthday? That’s kind of how I’ve felt the whole while waiting for this Playboy to come out,” she explained. “It’s hard to believe it’s a week away. It’s crazy!”

Ashley had the final say on choosing the sexy cover shot, which was recently revealed on SmackDown. She said she’s seen digital images of the other photos that will be in the magazine, but she hasn’t seen the actual magazine or corresponding story yet.

“So it’s going to be just as fresh to me as it is to everybody else. The payoff is when the magazine comes out, and I’m dying to see it!” she exclaimed.

“I can’t wait for my fans to see it, too. They seem to be really pumped, from what I’ve heard so far. So it’s exciting for me to have them rallying behind me through all of this.”

In addition to the excitement, Ashley admitted she’s just a wee bit nervous, too.

“I think anybody would be anxious, especially posing nude!” she laughed.

“I’m anxious to see WWE fans’ reactions. I’m anxious to see how it goes over because it’s a first for Playboy to put someone like me on the cover. They just rolled the dice on me… Thanks, guys!” she joked.

Don’t worry, WWE fans. Ashley thinks you won’t be disappointed next Monday when the April issue of Playboy hits newsstands.

“In my opinion, it came out really good!” she smiled.
