The 2006 edition of the WWE Diva Search competition is officially underway. It was a surreal scene in the ballroom during registrations this morning. 100 of the most talented and strikingly beautiful ladies from all over the country, and the world have gathered in Marina Del Ray to form a scene reminscent of a Playboy centerfold reunion. In the green room, the girls are getting ready, preparing outfits and reciting through answers for the questions they will face, all as the rigorous search for the next of TV's sexiest women kicks off.

The competitors for this year's search have come from all over the world. Alba, who flew in from from Vancouver, British Columbia, is more than excited to be a part of this year's competition. "It means so much to me to be a part of this. This is a big huge opportunity for me in my life right now and I can't wait to get started. I think I know what to expect, and I think I have what they're looking for to be the next WWE Diva."

Hannah, who flew all the way from Hawaii to be a part of this year's search, realizes just how intense the competition will be. "The competition looks very tough. The other girls look phenomenal so I'm definitely going to need to bring my A game. I'm ready for this though and I'm thrilled to be here. I desperately want to be a WWE Diva and I'm going to do whatever it takes to win. 

The field for this year's Diva Search is stronger than ever. It's a shame to think that come the end of the day Thursday, more than half of these women, who comprise some of the most beautiful in the world, will be sent home.
