TRIVIA SWEEPSTAKES – FEBRUARY ’12 EDITION
OFFICIAL RULES

NO PAYMENT, ENTRY FEE OR PURCHASE REQUIRED. 

OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.  ENTRANTS MUST BE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OLD AT TIME OF ENTRY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

HOW TO ENTER:  Submit the correct answer to the WWE Magazine Trivia Sweepstakes – February ’12 Edition and be entered for a chance to win a prize. Visit WWW.WWE.COM/MAGAZINE/ and review the trivia question and clue posted there.  You also can view the same question and clue on page 41 of the February issue of WWE Magazine.  Once you have reviewed the question and the clue, enter the Sweepstakes online by visiting WWW.WWE.COM/MAGAZINE/ and completing the entry form by providing the following information: (i) your full name; (ii) your full mailing address; (iii) your e-mail address; (iv) your date of birth; and (v) your answer to the trivia question.  Except as otherwise provided for herein, you are only eligible to win if your answer to the trivia question is correct. 

Entries must be received between 12:01 a.m. (ET) on January 24, 2012, when Sweepstakes begins, and 11:59 p.m. (ET) on February 21, 2012 when Sweepstakes ends.  Only one entry per person, per unique email address.  In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, any on-line entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account from which it was sent.  The authorized account holder shall be the natural person to whom the applicable email address has been assigned by the Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  A selected winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the selected winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.  If a dispute cannot be resolved, the entry will be deemed ineligible.  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

ELIGIBILITY:  Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years old when they enter the Sweepstakes.  Employees, officers and directors of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (“WWE” or “Sponsor”) (including WWE performing talent) and its subsidiaries, affiliates (i.e., entities controlling, controlled by or under common control with, WWE), promotion and advertising agencies and anyone involved in the Sweepstakes’ development or execution, and the immediate family members (meaning spouses, parents, siblings, children and their respective spouses) and members of the households of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible.  By taking part in this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.  WWE reserves the right to permanently disqualify from this Sweepstakes any person it believes has intentionally violated these Rules.  Sweepstakes subject to all federal, state and local laws.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

DRAWING:  The Grand Prize Winner shall be selected at random from among all eligible entries received that include the correct answer to the trivia question.  The random drawing shall take place on or about February 28, 2012 by WWE, whose decisions are final and binding on all aspects of this Sweepstakes and not subject to appeal.  The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by e-mail within one (1) week of being randomly selected.  The Grand Prize Winner may be required to provide additional information to confirm identity and eligibility and also may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, and any other documentation that WWE may require and to see to it that WWE is in receipt of such information and documents within five (5) days of being requested to provide the same.  If a selected Grand Prize Winner is a minor in his or her state of residence at the time he or she is asked to sign any documents, the minor’s parent or legal guardian also will be required to sign the documents.  In all cases, WWE reserves the right to request proof of identity, residency, age and parenthood or guardianship, and a winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize if WWE, in its sole discretion, finds that the proof is unsatisfactory. 

The prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries that include the correct answer to the trivia question and confirmed in accordance with these Official Rules (i) if a potential Grand Prize Winner does not timely provide the requisite information, return the requisite documents or cannot be reached within five (5) days from initial notification attempt, (ii) if prize is returned as non-deliverable, and/or (iii) in the event of non-compliance with any of the requirements of these Official Rules.

If only one entrant provides the correct answer to the trivia question, there will be no random draw unless that winner forfeits the prize, in which case an alternate winner will be selected at random from among the remaining eligible entries received from entrants who meet the eligibility criteria set out in the section entitled “Eligibility” immediately above.  If no entrants provide the correct answer to the trivia question, then a winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received from entrants who meet the eligibility criteria set out in the section entitled “Eligibility” immediately above.

ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE:  One (1) Grand Prize consisting of eleven (11) photographs, each autographed by a WWE Superstar (John Cena, CM Punk, Mark Henry, The Miz, Big Show, Kevin Nash, William Regal, Goldust, Booker T, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole) will be awarded.  Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize: $300. 

All expenses not specified in these Official Sweepstakes Rules, including, without limitation, taxes and insurance are solely Grand Prize Winner’s responsibility.  Grand Prize Winner shall be responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes including but not limited to any sales and income taxes.  Grand Prize may not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash, except by WWE, who reserves the right to substitute similar prize or comparable or greater value in its sole discretion.

ODDS OF WINNING:  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received having the correct answer to the trivia question.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:  Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and decisions of WWE which are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  By entering, participants (and parent/legal guardian if participant is a minor) release and hold harmless WWE and its subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, promotion, advertising and online technology agencies, prize suppliers and all others associated with the development or execution of this Sweepstakes, and each of their respective owners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, contractors and agents (the “Releasees”) from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize or parts thereof, including, without limitation, liability for death, personal injury, damage or loss of any kind, and from liability to any other persons relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this Sweepstakes.  The Releasees do not make any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any prize, including, without limitation, quality, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.  Further, no responsibilities are accepted for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing, or acts of any government or authority.  WWE reserves the right to modify this Sweepstakes in any way it deems necessary or appropriate.  Entry constitutes permission for WWE and its designees to use winner’s name, likeness, performance, hometown and state for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media at the discretion of WWE without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

INTERNET:  The use of any automated launching or entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits the participant to automatically register and/or enter repeatedly is prohibited.  If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.  Should this Sweepstakes be terminated, Sponsor reserves the right to select the Grand Prize Winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination.  Releasees assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries.  Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, misdirected, or postage due entries or mail, or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes.  CAUTION:  ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

MISCELLANEOUS:  Participants agree that this Sweepstakes is governed solely by the laws of the United States.  Any claims arising out of the Sweepstakes shall be governed solely by United States law and may be brought only in a federal or state court in Connecticut.  If any provisions of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
