JBL's Beyond Rugby program wins Fair Play Award from North America Caribbean Rugby Association
JBL's Beyond Rugby program has won a Fair Play Award from the North America Caribbean Rugby Association for its exemplary work in helping at-risk children. The NACRA Fair Play Award was voted on by 18 countries and more than 7,000 programs throughout North America and the Caribbean were eligible for the prestigious honor.
Over the last four years, the Beyond Rugby program has provided a much-needed outlet for at-risk Bermudian children to make great strides in behavioral improvement.
"We’re building a home for our kids, which is very important because we work with kids who don’t have much consistency in their lives, so we’re trying to provide that for them," JBL told WWECommunity.com earlier this week.
The WWE announcer tweeted how proud he was of the program he founded, and also sent a note of thanks to John Cena for providing one of the auction items at the awards ceremony:
