According to an Associated Press story reported on USAToday.com May 19, double-booking arenas can, and do, result in overwhelming headaches for the venue itself. The most recent example, as cited in the article, is the Pepsi Center's scheduling conflict with WWE this Monday night for Raw, the same night the building's owners have scheduled the Denver Nuggets to play the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals.

Further examples of how facilities are affected in instances of double-booking are also cited in the article, which can be read here.
