10 things you didn’t know about the WWE Performance Center

#5 Talents develop their personas under the guidance of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes

The Superstars and Divas of WWE NXT aren’t only learning how to properly execute hammerlocks at the WWE Performance Center. They are also learning how to project their personas to the thousands of WWE fans seeing them live, and the millions watching from their living room couches. The man helping them learn how to do this is none other than WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes.

“The American Dream” — famed for his boundless charisma and uncanny ability to connect through the camera lens to the audiences at home — teaches the talent how to best express themselves on the microphone and let their personalities shine through.

Trainees also have access to a “mirror” room where they can rant into a camera and immediately play them back.

“They can start recording and stop recording, work on whatever they feel comfortable with, work on their persona, pushing it to different angles in different ways,” Bailey said.
