When Chuck Palumbo was kicked out of the WCW/ECW Alliance, he found himself teaming with Billy Gunn to battle his former cohorts. Both Palumbo and Gunn quickly realized they had great chemistry together inside the ring and would move forward as tag team partners. However, an unexpected “bromance” developed between them as they adopted similar hairstyles and ring gear. With their “personal stylist” Rico at their side, the coordinated pair won the World Tag Team Championships twice.

Billy & Chuck’s success could be chalked up to a deep connection both inside and outside of the ring. They became so inseparable that they eventually held a “commitment ceremony” on SmackDown. Although the service was overseen by a delighted Rico, it ended in tragedy when their stylist betrayed them and joined the Raw brand.
