The Vengeance pay-per-view in Detroit was the site of The Rock's seventh WWE Championship victory. In a Triple Threat Match, The Great One outlasted both Kurt Angle and then-WWE Champion The Undertaker to take home the title. The Rock's title reign fell just days short from lasting one month.
