Sting and Lex Luger have been best friends and bitter rivals. While partners one year earlier at SuperBrawl, they were once again on opposite sides at SuperBrawl II when Sting challenged Luger for the WCW Championship.

In a thrilling back and forth match, Sting pinned Luger with a flying bodypress to win the match and claim his first official WCW Championship.
