WCW World Championship - Ric Flair

December 27, 1993 - July 17, 1994

Heading into Starrcade 1993, Ric Flair was already a 10-time World Champion, having held WCW, WWE and NWA gold. However, in order to earn one more chance at the gold, he put his career on the line against Vader's title at Starrcade.

Despite Vader's tremendous size advantage, the heart and desire of the veteran "Nature Boy" would not be destroyed that night. Late in the match, Vader's manager Harley Race accidentally headbutted his own protégé instead of Flair; the crafty "Nature Boy" seized the opportunity, rolling up a stunned Vader to get the three count and win World Championship number 11.
