After defeating Diamond Dallas Page and Chris Benoit in a Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship at Spring Stampede, Raven was on top of the world. A mere 24 hours later, he was brought back down to earth when Goldberg defeated him for that very title on Monday Nitro. It was Raven's only reign as U.S. Champion.
