Sixteen times the World Heavyweight Champion, Ric Flair had never tasted Intercontinental gold heading into his showdown with Carlito. At Unforgiven, "The Nature Boy" took the second-generation Superstar to school; after countering Carlito's attempt to spit apple into his face, Flair locked on his patented Figure-Four Leg Lock, making Carlito tap out to claim his first Intercontinental Championship.
To celebrate his accomplishment, Flair spent the rest of the evening celebrating with four young ladies in his limousine, proving that Flair's "Space Mountain" was still alive and well.
