Jimmy Snuka

Believe it or not, the WWE Hall of Famer famous for leaping off of steel cages in Madison Square Garden was an ECW mainstay in the early days of the organization.

Jimmy Snuka made an immediate splash in his first night with Eastern Championship Wrestling on April 25, 1992. After winning a Battle Royal, Snuka earned the right to face Salvatore Bellomo, defeating him to become the first Eastern Championship Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion.

He lost the championship to Johnny Hotbody the very next night, but recaptured it less than three months later. After losing the title to his longtime foe, Don Muraco, Snuka shocked the world and formed an alliance with The Magnificent One. While associated with his former nemesis, "Superfly" managed to capture the ECW Television Title, and later battled hardcore icon Tommy Dreamer in a series of matches before departing the organization for good in 1994. - ZACH LINDER
