John Cena to lend his voice to Blue Sky Studios' "Ferdinand"
John Cena already made one major announcement as co-host of NBC's "TODAY" when he revealed that Al Roker would be the special guest ring announcer for The Cenation Leader & Nikki Bella's WrestleMania battle against The Miz & Maryse. He broke another big story on his second day on the iconic morning show — his latest film project.
Very excited to show you all the trailer for #Ferdinand. Watch the beloved classic come to life this Christmas! https://t.co/McheDO3VKk

Debuting the trailer on “TODAY,” Cena announced that he will provide the voice of the titular bull in Blue Sky Studios' upcoming animated movie, "Ferdinand." The film is based on the classic children's book "The Story of Ferdinand," about a bull who would rather smell flowers than engage in bullfights. Cena joins a voice cast that includes Gabriel Iglesias and Kate McKinnon.
"Ferdinand" is slated for release on Dec. 15, 2017.
