John Cena cast in “The Suicide Squad”

The time is now for the cast announcement of “The Suicide Squad," and John Cena is slated to join the latest adaptation on the DC Comic.

Director James Gunn released the star-studded lineup on Twitter with the 16-time World Champion, Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Nathan Fillion, Viola Davis and many more accomplished actors all featured. The film is currently scheduled for a spring 2021 release date.

Cena recently joined Vin Diesel and the Toretto crew in filming “Fast & Furious 9.”

Gunn teased audiences not to get too attached to the reboot’s cast, but it’s tough to take down a member of the squad that can’t be seen.
