Could WrestleMania be next for Rob Gronkowski after Super Bowl victory?

Triple H sent the New England Patriots another custom WWE Championship to commemorate their fifth Super Bowl victory in franchise history. Today, during the parade, WWE superfan and star tight end Rob Gronkowski posed with the custom title, which got Mojo Rawley thinking.

Rawley is close friends with the Gronkowski family, who have supported him at WWE and NXT events over the years. When Gronk suggested a Hype Bros vs. Gronk Bros tag team match during the parade, pitting Rawley and Zack Ryder against Rob and his brother Glenn, Rawley had to suggest WrestleMania. Gronk looked like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin after WrestleMania XIV during the parade, imitating a “Stone Cold” salute with the WWE Championship proudly on display.

It probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Patriots won Super Bowl LI, though, considering before the game, Gronkowski visited The Rock, swapping his Patriots jersey for The Great One’s “Baywatch” shorts. Perhaps those shorts were the good luck charm New England needed to pull off the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.
